What are the LCS CRA Incentives
The Lake Clarke Shores CRA offers several incentive programs:
New Business Incentives Program:
Provides financial incentives to new businesses which locate within the redevelopment area. Eligibility criteria needed to qualify for the New Business Incentives Project include:
- The opening of a new business to the CRA area
- The new business does not duplicate other businesses in the redevelopment area so as to provide economic diversity in the CRA area
- Sufficient funds are remaining and available in the CRA project budget
- Any financial Incentive shall have an infrastructure focus and shall not exceed 50% of the project cost of the applicant.
- Any one grant or incentive shall not exceed the amount of $100,000.
- Such other factors or considerations as may be pertinent to the economic development and vitality of the redevelopment area.
Business Façade Beautification Grant Program:
The purpose of the Lake Clarke Shores Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Business Façade Beautification Grant Program is to rehabilitate and encourage the beautification of business facades within the CRA by providing financial assistance to commercial property owners and business owners.
Multi-Family Residential Property Beautification Grant Program:
The purpose of the Lake Clarke Shores Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) Multi-Family Residential Property Beautification Grant Program is to rehabilitate and encourage the beautification of multi-family residential properties within the CRA by providing financial assistance to multi-family residential property owners.
