About Camp
This fishing camp is hosted by Building Up Sports on Town property. The camp is hosted at the head of Lake Clarke in Memorial Park located at 1410 Forest Hill Blvd, Lake Clarke Shores, FL 33406.
Fishing Camp is intended for children ages 6-13. Children attending camp will learn knots, fishing techniques, fish recognition, and be given fishing equipment to take home. All fish caught during camp and released.
On the last day of camp, the campers will have a knot tying competition, a fishing competition, and a luncheon will be hosted by the Town for campers and their families. Families are invited to join on the last day and cheer on the teams as they fish for points.
A large tent is provided for shade and as a teaching area. A portalet will be on-premises during camp. Snacks and water will be available for campers.
What to bring
Campers are requested to wear activity appropriate clothing including closed-toe shoes and a hat. Fishing poles, tackle, and bait will be provided. Please apply sunscreen prior to dropping off your child and if you feel they will need to reapply please send them with their own sunscreen. Although water and snack will be provided please send your child with a water bottle. Be sure to include any allergies on the registration form, if you would prefer to have your child bring their own snack due to dietary restrictions please feel free to do so. Be sure all items have your child's name on them.

If you would like a Fishing Camp Registration emailed to you, please email Eliza Hansen. You can also stop by Lake Clarke Shores Town Hall to pick up or submit a form.
Registration fees can be paid via check, cash or credit card.
For those unable to come by Town Hall you may email your form to Eliza Hansen and call to pay over the phone.
