Sealed Bids containing all the required Bid Documents will be received by the Town of Lake Clarke Shores until 2:00 PM on December 21, 2022 at the Town of Lake Clarke Shores Town Hall located at 1701 Barbados Road, Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, 33406. The Bid Documents received by this time will be opened the same day, December 21, 2022, in accordance with the Invitation to Bid and Instructions to Bidders, at or after 2:00 PM at Town Hall in the Chambers Conference Room.

 

The bids will be for furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, fees, expertise, and services necessary for the rehabilitation improvements within the Town of Lake Clarke Shores South Service Area located in the MaraLago Cay neighborhood located South of Lantana Road and West of Lawrence Road. The improvements consist of, but are not limited to, a cured-in-place CIP sewer pipe lining, service line connections to the existing sewer mains, rehabilitation of gravity sewer lines, rehabilitation of lining to manholes, site restoration and clean-up.

This project is partially funded by a COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) administered through Palm Beach County Department of Housing and Economic Development. Davis-Bacon & Related Acts, including wage rates, will apply to all construction work performed on this project. Small, women owned, minority, companies, and/or disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to bid on this project.

 

At the time of bid submission each bidder, and all identified subcontractors, must possess professional licenses or certifications required by the State of Florida and/or Palm Beach County, as applicable, for the purpose of performing the specified work.

 

Bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the Town of Lake Clarke Shores and accompanied by a bid bond in favor of the Town of Lake Clarke Shores in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid price. A payment bond and a performance bond (100%) will be required of the successful bidder within fourteen (14) calendar days of notification from the Town.

 

In accordance with Sec. 287.133(2)(8), Fla. Stat., persons and affiliates who have been placed on the convicted vendor list may not submit bids, contract with, or perform work (as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor or consultant) with any public entity (i.e. Town of Lake Clarke Shores) in excess of Ten Thousand Dollars (or such other amount as may be hereafter established by the Florida Division of Purchasing in accordance with Sec. 287.017, Fla. Stat.) for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list.

 

The Town of Lake Clarke Shores reserves the right to waive any bid irregularities, informalities, or technical deficiencies and to reject any and all bids.
