Fake PBSO Scam

PBSO ANNOUNCMENT

Please be aware that there is a scammer posing as a sheriff's deputy, calling people in Palm Beach County demanding money - and the department released the audio to ensure no one falls for it. As a reminder, the sheriff's office said PBSO employees do not call for legal matters, money, personal information or jury duty. If you receive a call like this or any other scam please call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477).
