Marine Unit

The Marine Unit has been operational full time during weekends since July 2015. The Unit is committed to improving water safety and crime deterrence in Lake Clarke Shores. It works in concert with other local law enforcement agencies for incidents occurring on waterways.

The Marine Unit issues state and ordinance violations including:

• Improper safety equipment
• Water ski violations
• Unregistered/expired registrations
• Careless operation of personal water crafts or Vessels
• Slow speed zone/minimum wake

The Marine Unit assists Code Enforcement with code violations visible from the waterways. It also assist during town events.
