The Town Council has expanded the amount of time residents may place vegetative debris at the curb before scheduled collection. Residents may now place vegetation out for pickup up to 72 hours in advance, an increase from the previous 24-hour limit.
The change was made in response to resident feedback requesting greater flexibility when trimming trees, shrubs, and other landscaping around their homes.
Please note that this change applies only to vegetative debris generated by residents. Commercial landscapers are still required to remove and dispose of all debris they generate and may not leave it at the curb for Town pickup.
The change also does not affect bulk trash collection. Bulk items must still be placed at the curb no more than 24 hours before scheduled pickup.
The Town Council hopes this expanded window will make it more convenient for residents to manage their yard maintenance while keeping neighborhoods clean and attractive.
