The Yellow Dot Program Can Help Save Your Life
The Town of Lake Clarke Shores is proud to partner with Palm Beach County Fire Rescue to promote the Yellow Dot Program — a simple, free, and potentially life-saving tool designed to help first responders in the event of a vehicle accident or roadside emergency.
If you're ever in an accident and unable to communicate, the Yellow Dot provides emergency personnel with quick access to your vital medical information. Each Yellow Dot kit includes a pamphlet and a sticker.
Just fill out the form inside the pamphlet with your medical history, allergies, medications, emergency contacts, and other important details. Place that completed pamphlet in your vehicle’s glove compartment. Then, apply the Yellow Dot sticker to the lower left-hand corner of your rear windshield (on the driver’s side). This signals to emergency responders that your medical information is inside the glovebox.
Pamphlets and stickers are available for free at Lake Clarke Shores Town Hall. Each vehicle should have one sticker, and each individual in the household should fill out their own pamphlet. Be sure to update your information regularly to keep it accurate.
You may also request a Yellow Dot kit to be mailed to your home by Palm Beach County.
