New Virtual Meeting System Improves Public Access

The Town is making it easier for residents to stay informed, watch meetings, and participate in the public process through a new online meeting platform.

The Town has transitioned from GoToWebinar to Zoom for all Town Council meetings and workshops. The new system eliminates meeting registration requirements by using one recurring Zoom link for all meetings and also adds livestreaming on YouTube for easier public viewing.

Residents who wish to speak during public comment may join through Zoom, while those who simply want to watch can do so live or later on YouTube.

Town officials say the change improves accessibility, enhances public engagement, and provides a more user-friendly and cost-effective virtual meeting experience.
