The Town extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Maples for his dedicated service and his contributions to Lake Clarke Shores.
Council Member Maples resigned from his position on October 31 as he prepares to pursue a higher elected office in the State of Florida. His decision follows state law, which requires local officials to resign their current office before qualifying to run for another.
His work on behalf of residents has been deeply valued, and we wish him well as he undertakes the next chapter in his public service career.
