Permit Inspection Request

Contractors and Owner/Builders who have open permits through the MGOConnect portal will not be able to use this website and will need to use https://mgoconnect.org/cp/portal to schedule inspections.

 

Inspections depend on what is involved in the project. Simply stated, an inspection is required prior to covering up any part of the construction.

Inspections are performed from 8:00 AM. to 5:00 PM., Monday through Friday. Your plans and permit must be at the construction site and the address properly posted and visible from the street, the job must be accessible and someone must be present.

Inspection requests must be submitted Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM. at least one (1) business day prior to your requested inspection date.  Same Day inspections are not permitted. 

PLEASE NOTE: A $75.00 re-inspection fee will be imposed for failed inspections.

FINAL INSPECTIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL PERMITS ISSUED BY THE TOWN. The work performed must be complete and pass a final inspection before the Town can close a permit. If a final inspection is not completed within a reasonable amount of time, the property owner may be issued a Notice to Appear before the Code Enforcement Board. 

       Schedule Inspection Requests Are Online ONLY. Do not use this website for permits issued through the MGOConnect portal.
