A longtime summer favorite is set to return as Memorial Park once again hosts Lake Clarke Shores’ annual Fishing Camp later this July.
Open to children ages 5 through 13, the weeklong program gives young residents a chance to spend their mornings outside while building new skills in a fun, hands-on environment.
Campers will learn the fundamentals of fishing, including how to identify local species, improve their casting techniques, and practice safe habits around the water. The program also introduces participants to environmental awareness and the importance of protecting our waterways.
The week concludes with a friendly fishing competition and awards presentation, offering campers the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned and celebrate their experience. Fishing Camp will take place July 27 through July 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Registration is $155 for residents and $200 for non-residents, and space is limited, so early sign-up is encouraged.
