Infrastructure Surtax Citizen Oversight Committee

On May 17, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County adopted Ordinance No. 2016-032 to impose a voter-approved one percent local government infrastructure surtax to be utilized by the County, the County School Board, and the municipalities within the County for the financing, planning, construction, reconstruction, renovation and improvement of necessary infrastructure.

The Town of Lake Clarke Shores Infrastructure Surtax Citizen Oversight Committee was established pursuant to the County Ordinance and Town Resolution 18-03. The Committee provides an independent oversight and reviews the expenditure of the surtax proceeds.
