TO: ALL RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS IN THE TOWN OF LAKE CLARKE SHORES.

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Town of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, will hear a request for variance on January 20, 2021 6:30 P.M. or as soon as possible thereafter, at the Town Hall, 1701 Barbados Road, Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, as follows:

Claudine Vasseur (CDV Projects, Inc), of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, 33406, is requesting a seven foot front variance and a seven and a half foot side variance to construct a carport that will be eighteen feet from the front property line and seven and a half feet from the side property line with relief from the twenty five foot front setback and the ten foot side setback as required in Sec. 125-295 (1) and Sec. 125-295 (2) of the Town’s Code of Ordinances on the following real property:  

6904 Venetian Way, Lake Clarke Shores, FL; Lot 2, of Lake Clarke Isle, according to the plat thereof, on file in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, in and for Palm Beach County, Florida, as recorded in Plat Book 24, Page 74.

PUBLIC NOTICE is also hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Lake Clarke Shores, Florida, will hear the request and make a final determination on the variance on February 9, 2021 at 6:30 pm or, as soon as possible thereafter, at the Town Council Chambers, 1701 Barbados Road, Lake Clarke Shores, Florida. 
The February 9th Town Council Meeting will be a hybrid meeting with attendance in the Council Chambers limited according to social distancing protocol. Persons wishing to attend virtually may do so by registering at this link. A registration confirmation email will provide instructions on how to join the virtual meeting. You will have to download the GoToWebinar app if you join the meeting using a cellphone or tablet.
 
Virtual public comments and questions will be handled as follows:

  • Send email with your full name, address and comment no later than 24 hours preceding the meeting to: epearson@lakeclarke.org. If timely received, the comment or question will be read during the Audience Comment portion of the meeting.
  • Comments and questions may also be submitted in writing or heard during the meeting. See video and Virtual Meeting Participation and Questions document for instructions on how to participate at this link.

Said meeting will be a public meeting and you are hereby invited to attend and be heard.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE AND BE ADVISED, that if any interested person desires to appeal any decision made by the Board, with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, such interested person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
